Woods will be a childhood friend of Bell in his bag at Bridgestone Invitational
Former world number one Tiger Woods returned to competitive golf on Thursday, insisting he has no regrets about sacking caddy Steve Williams.
Woods, who played the last time in May, in the area of WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
He completed a 12-year partnership with Williams last month, prompting an angry reaction of New Zealanders.
"I thought it was time to change," said Woods, 28 number one. "It's a hell of a man and he helped my career, but I think it helped me well."
Williams was fired after that Woods was reportedly shocked Caddy Click for Australia Adam Scott, without asking the permission of their employer.
He revealed that he informed the Kiwi flag in its decision last month to AT & T National tournament in Washington, who attended Woods to promote his charitable foundation.

Williams said later in a rage, he had "wasted two years", but Woods said in a press conference: "And 'he says and what he knows I thought it was time to change Stevie and I had an amazing race - Stevie is an amazing caddy ...
"We had a pleasant conversation," he said. "It 'been a tough call, but we said we needed a face to face and in good faith."
The new guy on the bag for Woods in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Ohio, is his childhood friend Bryon Bell, who also caddied for him in 1999 Buick Invitational.
"Bryon and I go back," said Woods, who has confirmed appointment Bell was just a job "temporary", adding: "We have a very nice course."
Woods, who won the last of his 14 majors in 2008 and has not won a tournament since November 2009, was last seen in competitive action Players Championship.
