Broadway Marks 9 / 11 Years



Broadway theaters are marked 10 years 9 / 11 attacks, the performances with stars like Matthew Broderick, and Brooke Shields.

They sing the national anthem of New York, New York, in the heart of the theater district of the city on Friday.

Tony Award winners Bebe Neuwirth, Sutton Foster, Joel Grey, Harvey Fierstein will also participate.

Players will return to the place where they played the same song at an event just weeks after the attacks.

Voted by the current exhibition of Broadway will join them for the event anniversary.

Daniel Rodriguez, a former New York police officer who became full-time tribute to the singer after his work of spreading God Bless America September 11, 2001, is also shown.

Paul Libin President of the League of Broadway, which represents theater owners and producers, hoping it would be "a tribute to art, and life in New York."




"Ten years ago the United Broadway to communicate with the city that the sample should continue, as is life," he said. "And now, Broadway is once again unite to inspire participation in charitable projects to honor those who have lost."

The event is part of The Will Campaign, which aims to encourage people to do good deeds, to support a charity and voluntary work.
