Venice, Italy (AP) - The most memorable scene in "Carnage" the new film by Roman Polanski's Oscar winner is Kate Winslet.
Just ask her children. Winslet says that they have not forgotten the day when you have set the projectile vomiting.
"My children came to work today to vomit, and I am so excited that they were there because they literally have not stopped talking since. She was hysterical, "says Kate Winslet a news conference Thursday before the world premiere of Polanski films in competition at the recent Venice Film Festival.
Based on the play by Yasmina Reza, "The God of Carnage", the film is a sort of "Lord of the Flies" for all adults - whether civilized intentions go horribly wrong, as each character reveals his next base.
Satire full of comic moments Christoph Waltz Winslet star as husband and wife Alan and Nancy, appearing opposite Jodie Foster and John C. Penelope Reilly and Michael - two sets of parents who meet to work out the details of a combat game that left a boy with swollen lips and broken teeth.
Parents are able to maintain decorum in their quest niggle over whether the son of Nancy and Alan was armed with a stick, or just one take. But the claim Penelope rigid parents of the bully of lack of interest in your child's behavior was more than he could bear Nancy Winslet, literally.
Appropriately, projectile vomiting Nancy dud, you eat - all election of Penelope, and rare art books.
Even if the trick is necessary to use complicated equipment Winslet, Reilly denies Winslet was the toughest job.
"While Kate was the one who vomited, Jody and I had to clean vomit, so we had an engagement with vomit despicable," said Reilly.
The cast of stars, said he had a great time, and joined in the praise of Polanski, who shot first.
"If Roman Polanski, invites you to participate in any project that does not really say no," said Kate Winslet. "I saw the play in New York when I was already a big fan of the room. I felt I was very fortunate to be included."
Polanski movements are limited by an Interpol warrant on the strength of 188 countries for the extradition to the United States to face sentencing for having sex with a girl of 13 years in 1977. He moves freely between Switzerland, which refused to extradite him, and France, which has a policy of not extraditing its citizens.
"Carnage" is set in Brooklyn, but shot in a studio near Paris in six weeks. Most of the action takes place inside an apartment, which was designed to allow players to move seamlessly through space. Map images show the outside of boys fighting on a Riverside Park - and later give the film a bitter epilogue.
"The use of space was actually very accurate, and the border, and the minimum and detailed history," said Waltz. "But it is the Roman fort. Accuracy, detail, accuracy. Microscopic way of working."
Polanski had the players practicing the script as a game, remember the whole script and then only after traveling through it. While the manuscript corresponded to the script, Winslet said the tone and the pace was different - to create a unique piece.
"Everything was shot in the order history, from beginning to end, I do not think any of us ever seen in movies before," said Kate Winslet.
